Join the New Orleans Museum of Art and The New Orleans Film Society as we present live music, art making, a tour, and an outdoor screening of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (Rated PG-13 - Parents Strongly Cautioned) on October 19th in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA. All programming for the evening is free with admission to the event.
When: Friday, October 19th. Programming begins at 5pm. Screening begins at sundown (approximately 6:45pm).
Where: NOMA's Sydney & Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden
Admission: $6 for adults : Children (17 & under, must be accompanied by an adult), free : $3 for NOMA/NOFS/ Members (Members are allotted 4 tickets at the discounted rate.) Guests who purchase admission to the Museum will also have access to the Sculpture Garden and activities.
No refunds or exchanges.
Due to the sculptures and the architecture, no outside food or beverages will be permitted. Multiple food vendors will be available for refreshments.
No bug candles with an open flame allowed.
Please bring a blanket or folding chair for seating.
The Birds will be subtitled for the hearing impaired.
Schedule for the Night:
NOMA Members can call 658.4127 to obtain a new card, retrieve their Member #, or renew their membership.
All purchasers will receive a confirmation email with the tickets attached in a PDF format. Print the attached tickets and present them at Check In on the day of the show. No tickets will be mailed.
Rain Date Info: The scheduled rain date for this screening is Tuesday, October 23rd. If weather becomes a factor, guests who purchased tickets through Eventbrite will receive an email on the afternoon on October 19th. Other notifications will be on NOMA's Web site, Facebook, and Twitter. Guests can receive a refund if they cannot attend the rain date. All refund requests must be received by 5pm on October 24th. After that date, tickets will be honored at the Admissions Desk for Museum entry.
